Jimmy Yankie, 52, of Waco died Thursday at his residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Yankie was born Sept. 4, 1934, in McLennan County. He graduated from Midway High School in 1951 and attended Baylor University.
He worked for Bird-Kultgen, Inc. several years and later worked for Kendrick Tire Co. Inc. He opened Jimmy Yankie A-1 Alighnment and Tire Co. in 1974.
He was a member of Hewitt First Baptist Church, Waco Chamber of Commerce, Baylor Bear Club and the Better Business Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Yankie; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Leo Yankie; daughter, Cathy Anderson of Waco; two sons, Bobby Yankie of Waco and Michael D. Tyler of China Spring; and two grandchildren.
