Burnice Houston Wood, 72, of Beverly Hills died Friday at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 pm at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. John Roberts officiating.
Mr. Wood was born Aug. 3, 1917 in Navarro County. He was a longtime resident of McLennan County and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Walters and Patricia Robinson, both of Odessa; a sister, Beatrice Moore of Waxahachie; three brothers, T. J. Wood of Hubbard, Weldon Wood of Stamford and Bobby Dan Wood of Kemp; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
