Leon L. Willis, 73, of 1525 Trice Avenue died at 2:30 a.m. today in his home.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Connally Chapel. Rev. D. C. Huddleston will officiate with burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Willis was a member of Sparks Memorial Methodist Church in Bellmead.

He was born in Georgia and had lived in Waco most of his life.  He was a retired carpenter who worked for various building contractors.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Effie Willis; a sister, Miss Lula Willis of 1312 Old Dallas Road, and two brothers, A. P. Willis of 1312 Old Dallas Road and W. S. Willis of 1825 Speight Avenue
