Funeral services for C. W. Whitfield, 69, who died at his home near Erath Wednesday morning, were held from the Erath Baptist church at 3:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. W. P. Jones officiating, Wilkirson-Hatch in charge.  Burial was in China Spring Cemetery.
