Mrs. E. L. (Mattie) White, 70, of Waco, a longtime Waco resident, died Thursday at a local hospital.

Services will  be at 4 p.m. Friday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Lee Geldmeier and Curtis Holland officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. White was born Nov. 29, 1912, in Patrick and attended local schools.  She was married to E. L. White in 1931 and was a member of Herring Avenue United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Emerson(Rita) Hungerford and Mrs. J. C. (Billie) Hood, both of Arlington; and four grandchildren.
