Irene (Kitty) White of Waco, a McGregor native, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was 83.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Monday at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Ron Sloan and Chaplain Robert Scott officiating.
Mrs. White was born March 8, 1912, in McGregor. She married James Lewis White on June 22, 1930; he died in 1980. Mrs. White was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church in McGregor.
Survivors include a son, James Kenneth White of Hinkley, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Community Hospice or to College Avenue Baptist
Church.
