Annie Walker, 89, died Friday at a Lindale, Texas nursing home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 20, 1998 at China Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating.

Mrs. Walker was born December 12, 1908 in Patrick to the late Robert Alfred and Effie Cain Wallace, Sr. She attended school there and also in China Spring. She married Claude Walker Dec. 30, 1930 in Valley Mills. They lived and farmed around China Spring until they moved to Waco in August of 1951. She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Annice Marie Barger of Lindale; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and four great-grandsons.
