Mrs. Eva Thomas, 78, of Valley Mills, a longtime resident of the Valley Mills and Wortham Bend area, died Sunday morning in a Clifton hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Foss Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. W.R. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and had been married to O.W. Thomas, who died in 1974.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon Thomas of Atlanta and Joe Thomas of Valley Mills; daughter, Janelle Stephens of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. R. A. Hafner and Mrs. August Olsen both of San Angelo; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
