Lois Taylor McGee, 76, of Waco died Thursday, July 9, 1998, at a local hospital.  Services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Richard Sellers officiating.  Interment will follow at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. McGee was born June 25, 1922, in China Spring to Everett Marion and Nettie Lou (Echols) Toten.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gilbert Taylor and Theo McGee, a granddaughter, Tammy Tye; and a brother, Robert Toten.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Tanthea and Charlie Edison, Cleta and Johnny Tye and Sarah and Jim Fielding, all of China Spring; a step-son and his wife, Rex and Sandra McGee of Cleburne; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Faye Fieseler and her husband Calvin of China Spring.

Pallbearers will be Troy Edison, Trey Fielding, Bradley Peck, Greg Ritchey, Bobby Peck and Eugene Toten.
