Mrs. Mattie E. Talbert, 49 of 539 Dyer died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.W. Grusendorf at China Spring Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held from Compton’s chapel at 3 p.m. Monday with Rev. Mack Smith officiating. Burial will be in China Spring cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. G.A. (Nan) Norwood, Mrs. G.W. (Ina Mae) Grusendorf and Mrs. E. L. (Gladys) McCoy; sister, Mrs. Julia Harrison of Dallas; three brothers, J.Y Harrison, E. B. Harrison, and L.C. Harrison.

Pallbearers: B.F. Hill, L.L. Kennedy, W.J. Higginbotham, C.M. Talbert, B.M. Talbert and W. C. Talbert.
