Mrs. C.O. (Dorothy) Talbert, 69, of Valley Mills died Friday at her home.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Charles Wilson and the Rev. Jerry Walters officiating.

Mrs. Talbert was born May 3, 1921 in China Spring. She married C.O. Talbert Nov. 19, 1938. They lived in China Spring until 1950 when they moved to their farm on the North Bosque River. There they took up dairy farming. Mrs. Talbert was a member of First Baptist Church of China Spring.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Rodney Talbert of Crawford, Randy Talbert of Houston, Michael Talbert of Duncanville and Tim Talbert of China Spring; three sisters, Corinne Garrett of Waco, Oleta Wallen and Wynona (Sis) Carpenter, both of China Spring; two brothers, Billy Mac Crawford and O.C. Crawford, both of Valley Mills; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
