Jamie Allison (Orr) Strong, 29, of Gonzales, LA., died Friday March 29, 2002.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 at China Spring Cemetery with Minister Lon Elkens officiating.

Mrs. Strong was born August 8, 1972 in Waco, attended China Spring Schools and was a graduate of the Class of 1990. She was a graduate of McLennan Community College, School of Radiology and had an associate of science in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Hillcrest Baptist Hospital, Brazos Valley Medical Center and North Central Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio. She was currently working at Our Lady of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Her love was working in pediatrics. She had many friends, was loved by everyone that she met and had a smile for everyone. She met and married Eddy Strong July 21, 2001, in San Antonio. She was a member of First Baptist Church of China Spring. She was preceded in death by her father,
James Edward Orr.

Survivors include her husband, Eddy Strong of Caldwell; mother, Linda Orr Grubbs and stepfather, David Grubbs of Jacksonville; sons, Mason Edward Orr and Jesse Thomas Strong of Caldwell; sisters Vicki Arellano of Malakoff and Jinny Mohan of Waco; brothers, Ashley Orr and wife Sherri of Bosqueville and Keith Boatman of Waco.
