Mrs. Lybeoth Lea Stone, 91, died February 20, 1999, at a Tyler nursing home.  Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Leslie Stone officiating.  Ken and Duane Stone will assist.  Interment will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Stone was born July 15, 1907, in Aquilla, Texas to Meggie and Sara Maude Williams Montgomery.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and doll collecting.  She was preceded in death by a son, John D. Stone.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Mayfield and her husband Gene of Tyler, Texas, a son, Leslie Stone and his wife Ann of Carthage, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Fay Stone; nine grandchilren; a niece, Mrs. Patricia Long of San Antonio; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Stone, Larry Stone, Kenneth Stone, Duane Stone, Dennis Mayfield and Danny Mayfield.
