Steve Stanford, 42, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2000, at his residence.  Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, 2000, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco with Rev. Grant Kaul and the Rev. Kent Mathias officiating.  Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.

Steve was born on July 11, 1958, in Abilene, Texas, to Thomas D. and Marjorie Clark Stanford.  He married Temi Calvert on June 8, 1985, in Breckenridge, Texas.  He was a member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association,  Experimental Aircraft Association and attended Fellowship Bible Church.  He was an excellent craftsman and enjoyed building homes and airplanes. He was a very loving husband and father and enjoyed family projects with his wife and children.

He is survived by his wife,Temi Stanford of China Spring; daughter, Jordan Stanford; sons, Seth Stanford, Jesse Stanford and Cody Stanford, all of China Spring; parents Tom and Marge Stanford of Breckenridge, Texas; sister, Brenda Mitchell of Robinson; brother, David Stanford of Hewitt; and maternal grandmother, Gladys Clark of Breckenridge.
