Jeff was born to Dolph and Faye (Naylor) Stanford. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea and after returning home from Korea, he held jobs in both Waco and Dallas as a machinist. In later years, he enjoyed shooting pool,
playing dominoes and watching TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and two sisters

Survivors include sons, Jeffrey Stanford, of Waco, and Jimmy Stanford, of Fort Worth; sisters, Ruth Necker, of Brenham, Aileen Lumpkin, of China Spring, Wilda Hurst, of Waco, and Jeanette Bone, of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Mildred Stanford, of Waco; and two grandchildren.
