Services were Friday at China Spring Baptist Church for Mrs. Hazel P. Spencer. Burial was at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Spencer, 69, of China Spring, died Wednesday at a local hospital.

Mrs. Spencer was born Dec. 28, 1918 in Polk County. She graduated from Tarlington Prairie High School in Liberty County. She was married to Calvin P. Spencer March 26, 1938, in Hightower. She was a member of the Garden Club and China Spring First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Garland (Patsy) Pack of Tyler, Ms. Peggy Jean Spencer of Robinson and Mrs. Randy (Judy) Behringer of China Spring; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
