Frances Spence of China Spring, a homemaker, died Monday at her home.  She was 73.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Christian Center in China Spring, the Rev. Alton Ray and Rev. Odell Williams officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Spence was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Waco, where she grew up and went to school.  She was a member of Trinity Christian Center and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8564 for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence A. Spence of China Spring; a daughter, Ida L. Sheppard of China  Spring; three sons, Ronald E. Spence and Eric L. Spence, both of China Spring, and Edwin Nay Spence of Arkansas; three sisters, Elsie Pickens and Mary Lou McDaniels, both of Waco, and Alice J. Wright of California; and 11 grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 tonight at Trinity Christian Center.
