N. L. Roberts of China Spring died at 8 a.m. today in a Waco rest home.  He was 77.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Compton’s Chapel.  Rev. Jim Lewis will officiate.  Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Roberts was born at China Spring and had lived there all his life.  He as a retired farmer.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret R. Hunt of 2106 Lenamon; two brothers, Ben R. Roberts of 810 North Thirty-third Street and Jerry Frank Roberts of 1900 Alexander Avenue; a sister, Mrs. Mildred McNamara of Bosqueville; and two grandchildren.
