Mr. James Robert Rierson, Sr., 73, of Tallapoosa, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 pm, Saturday, May 16 at Tallapoosa First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sonny Moon and the Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating.
Mr. Rierson was born in Stamford, Texas on March 12, 1942. He was the son of the late Malcolm T. Rierson and the late Lenice Ledbetter Rierson. Mr. Rierson owned a pet shop for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Dunn Rierson of Tallapoosa; two daughters, Kelly and James Chandler of Buchanan, and Holly and Bill Crawford of China Spring; two sons, James “Rob” and Sondra Rierson of Tallapoosa, and Jonathan and Marcie Rierson of Hewitt; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
