Mrs. Eva Charlene Rains, 55, of Waco, died Monday at her residence.

Services will be 1 p.m. today (June 1, 1988) at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. R. C. Hallman, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at China Spring
Cemetery.

Mrs. Rains was born Dec. 16 1932 in McLennan County. She attended China Spring schools. She had been a resident of Waco and McLennan county all her life. She married Albert Richard Rain, Feb. 18, 1978, in Waco. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband; her father, Sam Porter Wright of Waco; daughter, Shirley Nell Bucker of Waco; two brothers, William S. Wright and Alton Clark Wright.
