William Thomas Powell, 72, Route 1, China Spring, died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the China Spring Baptist church. Rev. Don Richey officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: His widow, Mrs. Jessie Powell of Route 1, China Spring; one sister, Tiney Garrett of Waco; one brother, H. O. Powell of Fort Worth; one half-brother, J. M. Powell of Fort Worth.

Pallbearers: Jake Talbert, Homer Robinson, Claude Walker, Will Davis, Buddy Thomas and Oscar Payne.
