Mrs. Lela Elvira Talbert Payne, 92, of Waco, died Friday at a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today (Nov. 26, 1988) at China Spring Cemetery, Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating.

Mrs. Payne was born Feb. 3, 1896, in China Spring. She was married to Will E. Payne June 21, 1914. She was a member of Richfield Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mrs. Elsie Lois Mann of Waco; four sons, Charlie Gene Payne, Lorane Payne and Robert Payne, all of Waco, and George Payne of Wingate; three sisters, Annie Pearl Payne of China Spring, Texas Dorris of Dallas and Bee Grijalva of Hollywood, California; and three brothers, Byron Talbert and C.O. Talbert, both of China Spring and John J. Talbert of Mississippi
