Leonard F. Pate, 76, of China Spring, died in a Temple hospital at 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in China Spring Baptist Church.  Rev. Paul Smith officiated.  Burial was in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife; Mrs. Minnie E. Pate; four daughters, Mrs. Joy Hamilton of 900 South Sixth Street in Waco; Mrs. Floy Morgan of 912 North Tenth Street, Mrs. Lois Putty of Lindsey Hollow Road and Mrs. Ethel Early of 3812 North Twenty-third Street; 10 grandchildren.
