Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Mae Parker, 47, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. J. H. Barnard of China Spring, at 9 p.m. Monday, were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at China Spring Baptist church, Rev. Fred Brinkley officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Robinson of Dallas.  Burial was in China Spring cemetery, Wilkirson-Hatch in charge.

Pallbearers were Will Davis, H. F.Lendenham, Buddy Thomas, Tom Curtain, Jim Hulm and A. M. Humberson.

Mrs. Parker was born in Milam county and moved to China Spring 30 years ago.  Surviving are one son, Bobby Joe; two brothers, Lan Lantrip of China Spring and T. N. Lantrip of Waco; four sisters, Mrs. A. C. Hughes of College Station, Mrs. Mamie Osburn of Montgomery, Mrs. Mattie Robinson of Dallas and Mrs. J. H. Barnard of China Spring.
