Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Owen, 44, who died at her home near Erath at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, were held from Erath Baptist Church Thursday at 3 p.m., Rev. Roy E. Smith,officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery, Compton in charge.

Pallbearers were John Alton, L. C. Sapp, Les Johnson, T. J. McCrary, J. F. Ivey and Hugh Grayson.

Surviving are her husband, M. H. Owen; a daughter, Mrs. G. E. Smith of Houston; a son, Dan of Erath; her mother, Mrs. J. D. Hickson of Bosqueville; five brothers, R. L. Hickson of Waco, N. H. Hickson of Bosqueville, Boat Hickson of Bosqueville, W. H. Hickson of Bosqueville and B. W. Hickson of Bosqueville; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Pearson of Grapevine, Mrs. T. C. Gentry of Grapevine and Mrs. M. E. Verner of Evansville, Ind.
