Jack Meadows, 73, of Waco died Monday at a local hospital.  Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel.  Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Tuesday for visitation.

Mr. Meadows was born Sept. 15, 1925 in China Spring, to the late George and Emma Sawyer Meadows.  He served in the Navy from 1943-1948.  He was a graduate of Baylor  University, class of 1953.  He was the owner/operator of Meadows Springfield Printing Co. from 1961 until 1998.  he was a avid golfer and a member of Lake Waco Golf and Country Club.  He was also a member of Herring Ave. Methodist church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his wife, Esther Meadows of Waco, a daughter, Marsha Meadows of Denton; a son, Brad Meadows of Waco; two sisters, Marjorie Dickenson of Waco and Mary Jo Nix of Beaumont; a brother, Bill Meadows of Waco; two granddaughters and a grandson.
