Herbert Harris McLennan, 62, of 539 North Twelfth street, died at 2:45 a.m. Thursday at a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 4 this afternoon at the China Spring Methodist church.  Rev. James V. Baird officiating, burial in China Spring cemetery.

Survivors include three brothers, Edwin and Leslie of Thornton, and Will W. of China Spring; five sisters, Mrs. A. Miller of Bellmead, Mrs. Joe Armstrong of Lubbock, Mrs. C. E. Gordon, Mrs. W.  A. Riley and Mrs. Verdie Kindel, all of San Antonio; two daughters, Hortense and Mary Catherine, both of Waco.

Mr. McLennan was born and reared in McLennan County.
