Albert McGowan died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday at his home, 1108 North Fifth.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Connally Chapel, Rev. Carl Jones of Whitney officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: One son; M. E. McGowan of Waco; one daughter, Mrs. Era Mae English of McGregor; two sisters, Mrs. W. Ballard of Abilene, and Mrs. Pearl Thompson of Tyler; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
