Betty Stegall Marshall, 66, of Waco, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997 at a local hospital.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 28, at Connally-Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Claus Rohlfs officiating. Interment will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Marshall was born Feb. 12, 1931 in Elm Mott to William Stegall and Lula Belle Smith Stegall. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Marshall; two brothers, Charlie Stegall and Bill Stegall; and her parents.

Survivors include her husband, J.C. Marshall of Hewitt; four daughters, Linda Anderson of Houston, Peggy Herbert of Brenham, Donna Kienitz of Waco, and Sandra Wood of Hewitt; five sisters, Margaret Kluetz of El Paso, Sue Gresham of Dallas, Louise Honea of Cleburne, Pat Coca of Albuquerque, NM, and Frances Cooper of Waco; two brothers, John Stegall of Tyler and Raleigh Stegall of California; several grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
