Services for China Spring resident Wanda (Sissy) Maddox will be 3:30 p.m. today at Connally-Compton West Waco Drive Funeral Home Chapel, Jim Fisher officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Maddox, 49, died Tuesday at a local hospital.  She was born Nov. 29, 1943, in Freeport.  She married Jerry E. Maddox on July 2,  1960, in Waco.  Mrs. Maddox lived in China Spring the past 14 years and was a former employee of Mini Mart.  She was a Baptist.

Suvivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry E. Maddox Jr. and Darrell Maddox, both of China Spring; a daughter, Gaila Lessman of China Spring; her father and stepmother, Albert Smith and Rachel Seay of Midlothian; her mother, Lillie Densman Angle of Waco; her stepfather, Harold Angle of Clifton; three brothers, Roger Dale Seay of Robinson, Keith Byer of Austin and Randy Angle of Waco; four sisters, Judith McGraw of Lancaster, Calif., Paula Pursche and Rita Eckert, both of Robinson, and Lisa Angle of Waco, and several grandchildren.
