Sam H. Loutherback of China Spring, an Owens-Brockway employee for 31 years, died Monday at a local hospital.  He was 54.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. B. J. Witt officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Loutherback was born March 22, 1941 China Spring, where he went to school.  He graduated in 1959 and married Linda Sullivan in 1960 in Waco.  Mr. Loutherback was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Julie Uptmor of Jewett; and a granddaughter, Kaylyn Uptmor.
