Edmond A. Klaus, 72, of China Spring, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at the China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Foss Funeral Home.
Mr. Klaus was born August 13, 1928 in Rosebud, to Adolph and Dora Erlich Klaus. He was as Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Klaus owned and managed Klaus Builders’ in China Spring until he retired in 1992. He was a member of Wortham Bend Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Billy Don Klaus and wife Linda of China Spring; daughter, Melba Dean Hughes and husband Jake of Rosebud; sister, Evelyn Etier and husband James; three grandchildren; and special friends, Cindy Banks and husband Donnie.
