Lucille Kirks, 93, passed away in the early morning hours of July 17, 2005, at Valley Baptist Hospital in Brownsville.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Pamela Dykehouse officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kirks was born in China Spring and was a longtime resident of Waco.

She was preceded in death by husband Zebbie Vance Kirks; parents, Henry and Maggie Ledenham; brother, Buddy Ledenham and Irvin Ledenham and
granddaughter, Tera Lee Kirks.

She is survived by sons, Deen Kirks and wife, Midge, of Brownsville and Ken Kirks and wife, Linda, of Dallas; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and brother, Cecil Ledenham.

Pallbearers will be Dax Kirks, Colt Kirks, Kerry Kirks, William Gholson, Jerry R. Ledenham and Carroll Alsbury.
