Cleburne Kirk Jr. passed away July 21, 2001, at a Temple hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24 at BrookView Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 23.

Mr. Kirk was born Jan.  8, 1929, to Cleburne and Hilda Bethke Kirk.  He was a well-known and respected self-employed contractor for 52 years.  He was a most precious, loving, special husband, daddy and gramps.  We will miss him tremendously.  Well done thou good and faithful servant.  We love and miss you already.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Audrey Glenn Kirk, whom he married Jan. 6, 1948; daughters, Judy Berkheimer and husband Dan, and Pam McKown and husband Chris; brother, Billy and wife Joyce Kirk; seven grandchildren, Britney, Justin, Jason, Josh, Chapin, Michele and Christy; and nine great- grandchildren, JT, Jamie, Bailey, Brook, Isaac, Dalton, Stephanie, Jonathon, and Michael; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and sons-in-law.
