Audrey Mae Glenn Kirk passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 8, 2006, (her late husband’s birthday) at her home with her daughters at her side. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11 at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.

Audrey was born in Chilton, Texas, to the late Edgar H. and Dorothy Heine Glenn. She attended schools in West and Aquilla. Audrey was employed by Sears Roebuck and Co. and retired from Cox’s Department Store in Waco. After her retirement, she traveled with her husband in his employment with Sears Roebuck and Co.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Cleburne H. Kirk, Jr.; her father, Edgar Glenn; mother, Dorothy Glenn Pate; and brothers, Alvin and Charles Glenn.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Berkheimer and husband, Dan, and Pam McKown and husband, Chris, all of China Spring; sisters, Linda Byrd and husband, David, of China Spring and Lucille Machan, of Bellmead; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and numerous friends.
