Leo Kirby, 78, of Walling Bend at Lake Whitney died Friday at a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Whitney, the Rev. Dean Evans officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Kirby was born May 10, 1910, in Illinois. He had lived in Walling Bend since 1975. He married Sadie Ledenham in May 1945; she died in October 1983. He was an Army master sergeant and a veteran of World War II. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include a sister, Elsie Houge of New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
