Wife of George Pollard Kilpatrick

Carol Kilpatrick, 78, of Waco, died Friday at a local nursing home.   Graveside services eill be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 28, 1999, at China Spring Cemetery, with the Rev.  David Spain officiating.  The family wil lreceive visitors 5-6 p.m. Sunday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was born May 29, 1921, in the state of Washington to the late Atlas and Laura Nordvall York.  The family later moved to Meridian where she graduated for Meridian High School.  She attended business school in Dallas.  Mrs. Kilpatrick served as Deputy County Clerk in Bosque County for several years.  She joined the W.A.C.S during  World War II where she met and later married Pat Kilpatrick in Jackson, Miss. in 1946.  She worked for Word, Inc., retiring as Vice President of Production after 26 years of service.  She was a Methodist. She was a wonderful granny, wife and mother.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, G. P. (Pat) Kilpatrick of Waco; her daughter Jo Baggett and her husband Mike of Dallas; her brother, R. A. York Jr. of Adrian, Mich; and her grandchildren, Cary Baggett and Carl and Dee Ann Baggett, all of Dallas.
