Arthur F. Kelley of China Spring died at 4 a.m. Sunday in a local rest home.  He was 83.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. today in China Spring Methodist church with Rev. Billy Mac Patterson officiating.  Burial was in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Kelley lived in China Spring all his life.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the China Spring Methodist Church.  His wife, Mary Jane Kelley, died in 1934.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. B. L. Jackson of Houston and Mrs. M. A. Barrett of Laguna Park; one brother, W. A. Kelley of Waco; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
