Husband was Benjamin Ish, believed to be buried in Comanche County. In the Waco Times-Herald, 1901, Tuesday, Nov. 5: B.A. Ish died yesterday at Comanche. Formerly of McLennan County. Brother of Capt. Jack Ish. Burial at Comanche. His grave has not been located.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Ish who died Sunday at New Orleans will be held Tuesday morning at 11 0’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. D. Smith of China Spring. Rev G. A. Smith,pastor of the Methodist church, will conduct the services and interment will be made in the family lot in China Springs cemetery. Mrs. Ish was taken ill while visiting her daughter, Mrs. R. B Wofford at New Orleans. She had been sick only one week when death occurred. She was 68 years of age and a life long resident on McLennan County, having spent practically all her life at China Spring.
Mrs. Ish, who was the widow of the late Ben A. Ish, is survived by four daughters, Mrs. P. D. Smith of China Spring, Mrs. Inez Tankersly of San Antonio, Mrs. W. H. Judge of Washington and Mrs. R. B. Wofford of New Orleans, and two brothers, Charles and Dolph Eichelberger of China Spring.
