Brooks Hooper, 79, of Valley Mills, a veteran of World War II, died Sunday at a Clifton nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the China Spring Cemetery in China Spring, the Rev. W. R. Parmer officiating.
Mr. Hooper was born Dec. 24, 1908, in Westbrook. He lived in the Valley Mills area since 1982 after moving from Crockett.
Survivors include two sisters, Floreiede Gordon of Valley Mills and Agnes Lewis of Arizona.
