Mrs. Oma F. Higginbotham, 79, of Valley Mills died Wednesday in a Waco hospital.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. W.R. Parmer officiating.

Mrs. Higginbotham was born January 27, 1903 in Valley Mills. She was married to Percy Higginbotham in 1921; he died earlier this year.

Survivors: son, Gene Higginbotham of Valley Mills; two sisters, Mary Bridger and Gladys Harkins, both of Waco; four brothers, Joe, Alphus, Chet and Leslie Lechler, all of Waco; a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
