Mrs. Claudia Higginbotham, former resident of Valley Mills, died at her home in Waco at 12:30 p.m. last Sunday.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Third Street Baptist Church. Rev. Doyle Darwin officiated at the service.
Mrs. Higginbotham moved to Waco from Valley Mills nine years ago.
Survivors include one brother, J. M. Bettis of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. J.H. McLain of Waco and Mrs. A. E. Thompson of Oklahoma City, OK.
Active pallbearers were Curtis Brown, Richard Moyle, Jack Thornton, Hurchell Gamble, Luther McWhirter and Troy Rivers.
Interment was in the China Spring Cemetery.
