Alex Higginbotham, 69, died yesterday morning at a local sanitarium.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Mrs. L. M. Culp of Waco; sister, Mrs. W. B. Walker of Lolita, Texas.

Funeral services will be from the Methodist church at China Springs this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. M. M. Chun of the Methodist church in West officiating.

Mr. Higginbotham has lived in China Spring 50 years, having come there from Alabama, where he was born.
