Margaret Ann Hartig, 80, passed away at the Genesis Care Home in Maricopa, Arizona, on August 26, 2016. There will be a graveside memorial service at 1 p.m., Friday, March 10, at the China Spring Cemetery, in China Spring, Texas, for those who wish to share memories and pay their last respects.

She is survived by her children: sons, John Everitt and Matthew Stuart Hartig, of Waco; daughters, Louise Smudde and husband, Ray, of Chicago, IL, Carol Jean McCennan and husband, Mark, of Springville, AL, and Susan Lynn Hartig of Perryville, AR; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, George Merritt and wife, Nancy, from Pennsylvania, and Ralph Merritt and wife, Sandy, from Illinois.
