Harvey H. (Bill) Grayson, 83, of China Spring, a retired employee of William Cameron Co., died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Otis Watson and the Rev. Vernon Lameke officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Grayson was born Aug. 8, 1898, in Erath and attended Erath schools. he was a World War II veteran and operated a store in Bosquevill for several years.
Mr. Grayson owned and operated a cotton gin in Erath for 25 years and worked for William Cameron Co. in Waco for 15 years before retiring in 1963.
He was married to Lillian Crawford in 1926. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife; a son, Monte B. Grayson of China Spring; a sister, Mrs. Lena Wallace of China Spring; and a grandson, Monte Glynn Grayson of China Spring.
