Donald Ray “Butch” Grantham, 64, of Waco, passed away on Oct. 12.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at Connally/Compton Chapel. He will be laid to rest at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at the funeral home.

Donald was born on Dec. 10, 1941. Butch was very independent and loved his family. He worked hard until he was paralyzed from a gun shot wound that was in his spine for 31 years. He enjoyed listening to classic country music and loved old automobiles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Grantham; mother, Margie Polston; and sister, Rita K. Grantham.

Surviving Mr. Grantham are his children, Dorinda Horton, Dwayne Grantham and wife, Andrea, Sherry Rodriquez and husband, Daniel; their mother, Shirlon Temple; grandchildren, Stephen Grantham, Matthew Rodriquez, Amy Rodriquez, Justin Grantham, Trent Grantham and Kyle Grantham; brother, Richard T. Grantham and wife, Linda of Tow, Texas; very special friend, Paula Finch; aunt, Novelle Dockray; uncle, Ben Hough; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
