Dorothy K. Garrett, 90, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in a Temple nursing center.

Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at China Spring Cemetery with Rev. Jane Woodward officiating.

Dorothy was born December 12, 1927 in Waco to Lynn Kennedy and Lucille Smith Kennedy.She was preceded in death by her husband, A.V. “Red” Garrett; and her grandson, Pat Garrett.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Butch Garrett and wife, Sandra of Troy; grandchildren, Ben Garrett of Austin and Angela Garrett of Oglesby; six step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
