William Gathar Franklin, 89, of McGregor, died Monday morning in a McGregor rest home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Amsler Chapel in McGregor, Rev. Bill Brewer officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: two daughters, Miss Corinne Franklin of Waco and Mrs. Eugania Sykora of Waco; two sons, Aubrey Franklin of Valley Mills and Esver Franklin of Austin; stepson, Harley Williams of McGregor; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
