Ralph J. Erwin, 68, of Waco died at 9:40 a.m. Monday at a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in China Spring Methodist Church, Rev. Charles Rice officiated, assisted by Rev. Paul Hopkins, and burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: His wife, Mrs. Myrtle Erwin; sons, Howard Erwin and Edward Erwin, both of Waco; daughters, Maxine Erwin of Waco and Mrs. Virginia Bryant of China Spring; sister, Mrs. Bertha Lundberg of Atlanta, Georgia; eight grandchildren.
