Mrs. H. Louis Eckols, 70, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Holcomb in McGregor at  5:40 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services will be at the College Avenue Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Jack Riddlehoover officiating.  Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors:  Her husband H. Louis Eckols; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Holcomb of McGregor, Mrs. Elbert Gann of Maypearl and Mrs. Doc Summers of McGregor;  one son, Louis White of Waco; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. R. L. Saverly of Waco and Mrs. Jim Drake of Corsicana.

Mrs. Eckols was born in Gainesville.  She moved to McGregor from Midlothian about six months ago.  She was a member of the College Avenue Baptist church.
